Arrow and Chicago Fire Ratings Rise

The CW’s hit new drama Arrow, starring Stephen Amell, saw its ratings rise on Wednesday evening as did NBC‘s new fireman drama Chicago Fire.

On Wednesday evening Arrow pulled in 3.7 million viewers with a 1.3 18-49 rating at 8pm – the drama’s best performance since its premier. Following Arrow at 9pm on The CW was Supernatural which also enjoyed a boost to its ratings with 2.3 million viewers with a 1.0 18-49 rating.

NBC’s new fire-fighter drama Chicago Fire also saw its ratings boosted at 10pm thanks to a strong lead-in from The Voice. The music talent competition delivered 10.4 million viewers, with a 3.7 rating, to NBC between 8pm and 10pm. Chicago Fire at 10pm, starring Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney, had 7.0 million viewers with a 2.3 rating. Chicago‘s rise in ratings make its chances of being picked up for a full season that much higher – NBC recently ordered additional scripts of the drama but has yet to commit to more episodes.
