The CW Reveals Carrie Diaries Premier Date

The CW has announced the premier date for the Sex and the City prequel series, The Carrie Diaries.

The debut of the prequel series will see The CW tweak its schedule once more following the news it was shifting poorly rated Nikita back to its original time-slot. The arrival of The Carrie Diaries will see 90210 on the move as the teen drama is pushed back to Monday evenings at 9pm.

The CW’s Monday line-up currently consists of 90210 at 8pm followed by Gossip Girl at 9pm. However, Gossip Girl is due to conclude its run in December freeing up space for The Carrie Diaries and The CW has decided to push 90210 to give the prequel the 8pm slot. Will the move pay off for the Sex and the City prequel and will it benefit 90210?
