Hollyoaks actress Rachel Shenton to leave soap

Rachel Shenton has announced she will be leaving Hollyoaks next year.
The actress has played Mitzeee Minniver in the soap for the past two years and her exit storyline will see Paul Opacic reprise his role of Carl Costello.
Carl returns to the village seeking justice for his son Riley who was shot dead earlier this year.
Earlier this week Minniver filmed scenes – which are due to transmit early next year – at Sky News studios in London alongside Sunrise presenter Eamonn Holmes.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4 with a first look on E4 week nights at 7pm and weekend omnibuses on E4.  Viewers can also catch up on demand at http://www.channel4.com/programmes/4od
