Lindsay Lohan Angered By Scary Movie 5 Joke

Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly unhappy about jokes aimed at her in Scary Movie 5.

Several reports claim the actress is upset by a joke mentioning her legal troubles in the new trailer for Scary Movie 5. Lohan is amongst several celebrities to have cameos in the fifth instalment in the spoof film franchise. A new trailer for the fifth film shows Lohan screaming at a news report with the headline ‘Probation revoked – Jail time for Lohan?’.

According to a friend of Lohan the actual scene in the film doesn’t feature any such news report. Lohan’s “friend” has told TMZ the scene is actually of Lohan screaming in fright at a scene from the 2005 film Herbie: Fully Loaded which starred the actress.

The scene of Lohan screaming at the news-report regarding her legal troubles was inserted into the trailer without her consent and this would allegedly violate a promise made by the movies producers to the actress that she would have approval on jokes about her in Scary Movie 5.

The fifth Scary Movie is the first in the franchise not to feature Anna Farris or Regina Hall. Lohan is just one celebrity cameos as themselves in the new film with Charlie Sheen sharing scenes with the actress while Mike Tyson will also cameo in the film. Scary Movie 5 parodies a number of films with Planet of the Apes, Paranormal Activity, Black Swan and Inception amongst its targets.

It is the first film in the franchise in six years as Scary Movie 4 was released in 2006 and spoofed, amongst others, the Saw films, Brokeback Mountain, War of the Worlds and The Village.

Scary Movie 5 Opens in the UK & US on April 12th 2013.
