CBS Wants More Two And A Half Men

Two and a Half Men 2012CBS has stated it is interested in renewing comedy Two And A Half Men for an 11th season.

The future of the long-running comedy and actor Angus T. Jones involvement was always going to be a topic raised at the Television Critics Association’s winter tour in Pasadena. CBS has not yet renewed Two and a Half Men for an 11th season but entertainment president Nina Tassler told reporters on Sunday that the network is interested in ordering another series.

“We told [studio] Warner Bros. we would like to have an 11th season and they’re equally interested” Tassler told reporters when quizzed on the subject. When asked if actor Angus T. Jones would be involved in the next series, given his recent rant about the comedy, Tassler told reporters ‘We’d like him to be part of it next year, I think he would like to come back, too. Chuck Lorre [executive producer] would like him back….He made his public apology and we’ve moved on’

Tassler also revealed that Jones would be returning to the set of the comedy next week to continue filming the 10th season. For those wondering whether Aston Kutcher would continue in his role for the 11th season Tassler stated that no deal was in place yet that conservation will likely take place once CBS has renewed the series.
