Doctor Who tops 1 million iPlayer requests in June

New figures for the BBC iPlayer service reveal Doctor Who was once again one of the most requested programmes with over 1 million downloads.

That’s just for one single episode of Doctor Who alone as only the mid-season finale, A Good Man Goes to War, was broadcast in June. The previous six episodes were broadcast in April and May and previously released figures all reveal they were big hitters on the iPlayer as well. A Good Man Goes to War was requested 1.26 million times – the most requested programme of June. Doctor Who dominates the most requested programmes on the iPlayer this year with only The Almost People sitting outside the Top 20.
