David Tennant happy to return to Doctor Who

{jcomments on}David Tennant would happily reprise his role of the 10th Doctor on the BBC sci-fi series.

With the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who fast approaching fans have naturally began to speculate how the series will celebrate such a landmark occasion. The show’s 10th and 20th anniversaries were marked by “multi-Doctors” stories with previous actors returning to the series to reprise their “respective Doctor”. (The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors). Fans are therefore hopeful the 50th anniversary will be marked in a similar way and that the 10th Doctor will feature.

Actor David Tennant has said there are “no plans” at the “moment” for him to return but he would happily do so. “People keep telling me that they’ve read online that I’m coming back – but believe me, if that happens I’ll be the first to tell everyone. I’ll be shouting about it very loudly” The actor said in an interview with TotalFilm. The actor also noted he looks back on time his on Doctor Who “fondly”.
