Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome Syfy Air Date Set
The broadcast date for the Battlestar Galactica prequel Blood and Chrome, starring Luke Pasqualino, has been revealed.
The prequel movie has, of course, already premiered online as it was released in several installments late last year. The online premier of the movie was generally well received and now the next stage of Blood and Chrome‘s rollout is set to begin.
Deadline reports that the two-hour version of Blood and Chrome will be broadcast on Syfy on February 10th at 9pm. The television version of the broadcast will feature some additional scenes not featured in the online version – to make sure fans tune in to Syfy. Following the broadcast of the prequel it will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Blood and Chrome is set between the events of Caprica and Battlestar Galactica thus making it both a sequel and prequel at the same time. The movie is set during the first Cylon war, a decade into it, as the bitter war between man and his creations wages across the 12 colonies. Blood and Chrome follows the first mission of the newly graduated William Adama (Luke Pasqualino) who boards the Battlestar Galactica and volunteers for a risky mission.
