Officers from Operation Elveden make new arrest

The 33-year-old man was arrested around 5.45am this morning and taken to a North London police station for questioning. The arrest came following information supplied to Operation Elveden by News Corporation’s Management and Standards Committee.
Operation Elveden is the MPS inquiry into allegations of inappropriate payments to police and public officials. It is running in conjunction with Operation Weeting, the MPS phone-hacking inquiry.
