No second series for BBC One’s Good Cop
Fans of BBC One drama Good Cop will be disappointed to learn that the drama won’t be returning for a second series.
Good Cop followed tortured cop John Paul Rocksavage (Warren Brown) as he sought revenge following the brutal murder of his partner (Tom Hopper) by a gang of criminals.
Brown revealed via Twitter that a second series is “not happening”.
A four part run, Good Cop premiered in August, however the final episode was postponed due to the real life murder of two female police officers in Manchester.
The final episode finally aired three weeks later than planned but could only muster a fraction of the audience that previous episodes had achieved – 1.9m – down from the 4m+ who saw the first three episodes.
Brown will next be seen as Justin Ripley in the third series of Luther which will return to BBC One later this year.
