Jacklyn Zeman Returning To General Hospital
Actress Jacklyn Zeman has revealed she is returning to ABC soap opera General Hospital.
The actress announced the news via her Facebook page in which she wrote “Bobbie Spencer is coming back to GH soon. I am very happy to be invited and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead. Thank you so much to all of you for your good wishes and positive thoughts.”
Zeman is the latest actor to agree to return to General Hospital ahead of its 50th anniversary in April. So far Genie Francis, Kin Shriner and Jon Lindstrom have all agreed to reprise their respective roles.
Zeman played Bobbie Spencer on General Hospital from 1978 through to 2010; the character is the sister of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and the mother of Carly Corinthos (played since 2005 by Laura Wright).
Meanwhile actor John Stamos – who played the character of Blackie in General Hospital in the mid 80s – has hinted he may be returning as well. The actor recently tweeted “Visiting my buddy Kin Shriner (Scotty Baldwin) at my old stomping grounds – GH.” and linked to a photo of himself and Shriner in the parking lot of the studio. Later on the actor also tweeted a photo of himself with actress Genie Francis. The tweet and photos have prompted some speculation as to whether the actor will be the next to agree a return.
