Poll: Which BBC Three Drama Would You Save?
With the news that supernatural series Being Human will end with its fifth and current series we are asking our readers which BBC Three drama you would save.
The demise of Being Human is further proof that drama cut backs at the digital channel are really having an effect. The cancellation of Being Human follows news that the Lesbian drama series Lip Service will not return for a third season. Many viewers are still unhappy that the dark supernatural series The Fades was not renewed for a second series despite winning a BAFTA.
So we are asking our readers which drama – out of the three – would they like to save/bring back.
Lip Service ran for two seasons on BBC Three and starred Heather Peace, Laura Fraser, Ruta Gedmintas, Roxanne McKee and Emun Elliott. It was based in Glasgow and part of the BBC’s drive to better reflect LGBT – but especially Lesbian – audiences.
The Fades ran for just one season of six episodes in 2011 and was created by Jack Thorne. The dark but critically acclaimed series starred Iain de Caestecker, Daniel Kaluuya, Joe Dempsie and Lilly Loveless with a supporting cast that included Tom Ellis, Natalie Dormer, Daniela Nardini, Claire Rushbrook and Johnny Harris.
All three are worthy choices but which one would you save most given the chance? Vote below and you can comment as well by using the simple form.
