Teenage soapstar denies rape

A teenage soap star is due to stand trial in March accused of raping and molesting a 14-year-old boy.

The Daily Mail reports that the actor has been accused of conducting a three-month campaign of sexual abuse against his victim which took place when the pair attended the same theatre school.

He has been charged with orally raping the boy at a South London theatre in July 2010 as well as fondling him in changing rooms at the stage school and in public toilets.

The accused, who is now 17 and who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Blackfriars Crown Court this morning, where he denied the charges.

The trial is scheduled to start from Monday 18th March and is expected to last two weeks.
