BBC One axes Young Apprentice
The Young Apprentice will not return to BBC One for a fourth series, it has been confirmed.
Lord Alan Sugar broke the news to his Twitter followers this evening after being asked whether the reality series would be coming back.
Sugar replied: “NO BBC HAVE DECIDED TO STOP IT.”.
The Young Apprentice (Junior Apprentice for Series 1) debuted on BBC One in 2010 but failed to reach the same popularity of The Apprentice.
It offered teenagers aged between 16 and 17 the chance to win an investment from Lord Sugar in their future business plans.
The third series was won by Ashleigh Porter-Exley.
Sugar added that The Apprentice will return to BBC One in “late Spring”.
