Gavin & Stacey stars for new ITV comedy drama

Gavin & Stacey stars Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman are to star in a new ITV comedy drama Love and Marriage.

Love and Marriage follows the Paradise family, who have to cope with mum Pauline’s (Steadman) decision to walk out on the family after retiring as a lollipop lady.

The six-part series produced by Tiger Aspect and written by Stewart Harcourt has been described as a “warm-hearted drama” which focuses on the “highs and lows of family life.”

Tiger Aspect’s exec Rebecca de Souza said: “Stewart has created the most delightful, funny show. It asks all the big questions about love and marriage.”

Steadman and Lamb will be joined by Duncan Preston, Celia Imrie, Graeme Hawley and Ashley Jensen in the cast.
