Julia Barr Signs Up For All My Children Return
Julia Barr has agreed to be a part of Prospect Park’s revival of All My Children.
TV Line reports that Barr is the latest actor to sign up for the planned revival of the former ABC Daytime soap. Barr’s return means that her character of Brooke English will be returning to Pine Valley when new episodes are released later this year.
Barr first played the character of Brooke in 1976 and remained with the ABC soap until 1981 but returned a year later in 1982 to reprise the role. Barr then remained with All My Children until 2006 when she bowed out once more but did return during its final few episodes on ABC.
In 2005 Barr crossed over to fellow ABC soap One Life to Live as Brooke for several episodes. Prior to joining AMC the actress played Serena Szabo in Ryan’s Hope.
Prospect Park’s revival of All My Children is set to start shooting very shortly and will pick up events in Pine Valley five years after the television finale. So far confirmed as returning are: Cady McClain, David Canary, Jordi Vilasuso, Jill Larson, Thorsten Kaye, Darnell Williams, Debbi Morgan, Lindsay Hartley and Vincent Irizarry.
It has been reported, but not confirmed, that Susan Lucci has agreed to reprise her iconic role of Erica Kane for a single episode. Meanwhile Michael E Knight, Cameron Mathison and Alicia Minshew have all stated the door has been left open for future returns for them.
Episodes of All My Children, and One Life to Live, will be available to watch on the Hulu and iTunes platforms.
