Prince Charles Countryfile special to air Sunday
A special edition of BBC rural affairs programme Countryfile, edited by Prince Charles, will air tonight.
The Prince of Wales will guest edit the special edition as Countryfile celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Sunday favourite looks at the latest farming, agricultural and rural issues throughout the UK countryside.
Preview footage has been released prior to the airing, showing the Prince getting dirty to help build a make-shift hedge. He was mainly filmed at his organic farm in Gloucestershire but he is also seen visiting other rural projects he set up.
“It’s riveting, by going for a walk I find it stimulates thinking and reflecting. So I spend my life stamping about and I have things I write down. That’s where the best thoughts come from.” – Prince of Wales, via Telegraph
Countryfile special airs tonight at 7.00pm on BBC One and BBC One HD.
