Final Network News Bulletin From TVC
The final network news programme to come from BBC Television Centre has aired on BBC One.
Sunday’s (17 March) BBC News at Ten, hosted by Mishal Husain, was the last main national news programme to come from the West London studios. Today (18 March) sees network news programmes and the news channel being broadcast from New Broadcasting House in central London.
It has taken over a year for services to move from Television Centre to New Broadcasting House. In January BBC World News began broadcasting from NBH in its new state-of-the-art studios.
The BBC News Channel is currently broadcasting from Television Centre but will also switch following the BBC News at One, which will be the first network news programme from the new studios.
Television Centre closes it doors at the end of the month after it was sold for £200 million.
