Nick Frost to star in new Sky Atlantic comedy

Hot Fuzz actor Nick Frost is to star in a new comedy for Sky Altantic.

Frost will lead the cast of Mr Sloane playing the title role – a 1960s man in crisis.

Billed as a “bittersweet romantic comedy” the series has been created by Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s Robert B Weide, and sees Sloane try to turn his luck around, pursuing a new job and love interest.

Mr Sloane will air next year for six episodes with shooting due to begin in April.

Weide said: “Nick is not only a very funny guy, but a very talented actor. I had no specific agenda to create a show for him, but out of the blue, an idea came to me that was entirely character driven, and I immediately saw Nick as that character.”
