Denise Van Outen gets Fabulous
Television presenter, singer and actress Denise Van Outen speaks to tomorrow’s Fabulous Magazine about everything from rejection to motherhood.
The former face of Channel 4’s Big Breakfast told The Sun’s free mag, “Now is the first time I’ve started to think that I’d really like to have another [baby]”
38-year-old Van Outen is married to fellow actor 31-year-old Lee Mead, who found fame on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s BBC One talent search, Any Dream Will Do.
“We’ve only seen each other on and off over a period of six months, but that’s how our industry is.”, she says, adding, “Mind, what happens when you’re not together for that length of time is that you get used to your own company so you have to readjust when you’re together again.”
Denise was runner up to the trophy on last year’s Strictly Come Dancing, coming second to winner gymnast Louis Smith. In her exclusive chat to Fabulous she notes on overall failures and rejections,
“When something negative happens in my life, I don’t crumble, I come back.” adding on fame generally, “When you first start out and become known by the public, fame can become a bit of a drug and its easy to get caught up in that.”
Van Outen is currently working on ITV2’s reality drama The Only Way Is Essex as narrator.
Fabulous magazine is available, for free, within The Sun every Sunday. Other highlights from this week’s issue include Mat Horne discussing curly hair and Kylie, a feature on the oddest friendships in show business and fashion editor Lynne McKenna brings tips on how to look good in snakeskin.
