Khloe Kardashian axed from X Factor USA

X Factor USA presenter Khloe Kardashian will not be returning for the new series, FOX has confirmed.

She co-hosted the reality show alongside Mario Lopez last year. However after just one season producers have decided to ditch Khloe and keep Mario as the main presenter. The pair took over from Steve Jones who hosted the first season but was axed after being panned by critics.

Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato will return for the third season which is expected to start filming soon. The search is on to find replacements for L.A. Reid and Britney Spears both of whom chose to quit the show at the end of season two.
