ATV Choice: Futurama – Silence of the Clamps

Seasoned gate-crasher Bender doesn’t let a minor detail like not being cordially invited stop him from attending a wedding in tonight’s edition of Futurama.

However this isn’t any old nuptial either, nope, it’s the big day of Donbot’s daughter and, not content with making out with the bride, Bender only goes and stumbles upon a vicious ‘clamping’.

Fuelled by a pervading sense of justice/all-consuming terror, Bender testifies against the head of the Robot Mafia, before going into hiding in the witness relocation program. It’s only a matter of time before his past catches up with him because, if there’s one thing that really riles the mob, mechanical or not, it’s a rat.
