Him and Her, Pramface return to BBC Three

BBC Three has confirmed today that two of its most successful comedies will return.

Him and Her sees Becky (Sarah Solemani) and Steve (Russell Tovey) back for the final series. The final six part series will be centred around Becky’s sister Laura’s wedding. The ‘anti-romantic’ comedy first launched in 2010.

Pramface will also return to see how Jamie (Sean Michael Verey) and Laura (Scarlett Alice Johnson) are coping with parenthood and their new relationship.

Two new comedies have also been unveiled today, Uncle and People Just Do Nothing. Uncle stars stand-up comedian and singer/songwriter Nick Helm as Andy, a dissolute out-of work musician who forges an unlikely alliance with his 11-year-old nephew after being morally blackmailed into looking after him by his chaotic sister Sam (Daisy Haggard).

A mockumentary about pirate radio station Kurupt FM and its crew. People Just Do Nothing (title yet to be confirmed) started life as a one-off web exclusive pilot last year as part of the launch of Feed My Funny and was the most shared programme on iPlayer during the month of July 2012.

Eight new comedy pilots for BBC iPlayer have also been commissioned.
