Tamzin Outhwaite joins New Tricks

Former EastEnders and Hotel Babylon actress Tamzin Outhwaite is to join BBC drama New Tricks.

Outhwaite will join regulars Dennis Waterman, Denis Lawson and Amanda Redman for the tenth series due to air later this year. As the new boss of UCOS, DCI Sacha Millard will need to use all her policing experience to manage her team of unconventional ex-coppers reinvestigating the Met’s unsolved crimes.

New Tricks began filming last year with a special two-part opening episode set in Gibraltar, and is currently filming on location in London due for transmission on BBC One later this year.
