District 3 give Essex their X Factor

This morning District 3 joined the Wake Up Essex Breakfast Show to chat about their up coming tour and the their experiences over the past year since X Factor.

“Greg, Mickey and Dan were professional to the end with the boys arriving at Southend Radio’s studios not having a wink of sleep.” the station notes.

However band member Dan suffered a motorbike accident last night before studio rehearsals- trying to avoid a low flying pigeon! – after an evening of tour rehearsals they finally wrapped up at 2am, and he went to A&E.

It turned out that Dan had fractured his arm… so not only had he ploughed through his rehearsals in pain… they still managed to make it onto Southend & Chelmsford Radio’s Wake Up Essex Show with Dom, Nick and Nat with Dan’s arm in plaster and bleary eyed!

They gave the team an acapella rendition of ‘What do you know about me?‘

They have just finished the X Factor tour and spoke of stories of practical jokes played whilst a certain fellow contestant, Chris Maloney slept! Including putting honey in his navel and coffee beans in is Mouth!

Maloney did see the funny side we’re told.

District 3 are about to embark on a nationwide tour that kicks off on 24th May.
