NBC Renews Community For Fifth Season

Community fans rejoyce: NBC has renewed the cult comedy for a fifth season!

While NBC comedy fans maybe mourning the loss of (quite a few) of the broadcaster’s output there is some good news because the broadcaster has renewed the low rated but cult favourite Community for a fifth season.

There were fears the fourth season of Community would be its last given its bumpy ride to air. Series creator Dan Harmon was replaced as show-runner while actor Chevy Chase bowed out of the series and delays to its broadcaster pushed the comedy further back in its schedules. NBC did state it was open to a fifth season but fans didn’t dare let their hopes get up too much.

Late last night came the news NBC had renewed Community and reportedly for 13 episodes.
