New Big Brother Series’ announced

cbb-2013Channel 5 are to launch additional Big Brother programming the broadcaster has announced.

A new psych show will air, fronted by former show winner Rylan Clark, Big Brother’s Bit On The Psych. The Bit On The Psych team will be joined by a panel of experts and psychologists to analyse the behaviour of the housemates over the past seven days.

Rylan will also front a new addition to the schedules –  a Sunday lunchtime edition of Bit On The Side. The most important change is a prime time live stream which will air nightly from 7pm through to 9pm on Channel 5’s sister station 5-Star.

Big Brother will return this summer. The announcement is just one in a series of changes the broadcaster has made to the show for 2013. Earlier this year Brian Dowling was axed as main show host, a role the former Big Brother winner of 2001 had held since the shows move from Channel 4 in 2011. Original UK host Davina McCall recently said she had no intention of ever returning to the programme.
