Bieber booed at Billboard Awards

The love-him or hate-him singer Justin Bieber has been booed by the audience at the Billboard Music Awards. It follows a string of incidents which have left the performer looking like a diva.

Bieber won three awards at the gong show, however it didn’t go down well with the audience who booed the The Beauty And The Beat singer as he attempted an acceptance speech on the stage.

“I’m an artist and I should be taken seriously, and all this other bullshit should not be spoken of.” a bemused looking Bieber said to the unimpressed gathering.

He took away the top male artist award, top social artist award as well as a milestone award.

The ‘bullshit’ in which the Bieber speaks of include keeping fans waiting at a number of gigs, a pet monkey being illegally taken into Germany and run-ins with the press.

“Darlings!” showbiz critic Vivian Summers says, “He’s one in a long line of image over substance, it will come to pass. We’ve all been there; teenage girls, and some boys, who would buy him singing over and over ‘let’s wee in a frying pan’ to a disco beat just because he looks shaggable to that age range. He’s young he may mature like a fine wine, and then release proper music.”
