Foo Fighters taunt Westboro Baptist Church
{jcomments off}Rock band Foo Fighters taunted members of the notorious Westboro Baptist Church after they turned up to picket a concert by the group.
Foo Fighters were playing a gig in Kanas Citry in America and had received prior warning that members of the notorious anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church were planning to picket the concert. The so-called Church had threatened to picket other concerts held in the area on previous occasions.
With prior warning of the picket the Foo Fighters were able to devise a suitable counter protest against the ‘Church’ at its members. The members of the band showed up at the picket line on the back of a truck, draped in the American flag, singing the spoof country song “Keep It Clean (Hot Buns)”. The song contains such lyrics as “Driving all night, got a hankering for something, Think I’m in the mood for some hot-man muffins, Mmmm, sounds so fine, yes indeed.”
The band were successful in drowning out the protesting members of the Westboro Baptist Church. The group are notorious, and widely hated in America, for picketing the funerals of America’s war dead. The group are vehemently anti-gay and are outspoken and highly controversial.
