Jason Grimshaw seeks older lovers down Coronation Street

Coronation Street - Jason GrimshawCoronation Street actor Ryan Thomas thinks his character Jason Grimshaw should continue his love for 50-something women following a brief romance with Rovers Return Landlady Stella Price, played by Michelle Collins.

Ryan suggested his Weatherfield alter ego could woo Deirdre Barlow or soon to return Liz McDonald. Both women have had more blokes than hotpots.

The 29-year-old who has appeared in Corrie for thirteen years told the Sunday Mirror;

I’d pick Deirdre. I love Annie (Kirkbride) and we have a right good laugh. I think that would be quite funny.

Or Liz McDonald. I’m really pleased Bev (Callard) is coming back. That would cause problems for Steve and I’d love that, to be sat there with his mum on the couch.

Ryan recently signed a new contract to stay with the long running saga for another year. As a footnote Stella Price is 51, Deirdre Barlow is 58 and Liz McDonald is 56.
