Doctor Who actor Colin Baker has revealed he’s to guest star in an episode of BBC One’s daytime soap Doctors. The actor revealed he would be guest starring in Doctors in his blog stating filming would take place in mid January. However, he did not reveal details of his character or storyline. Baker last appeared in the BBC One medical soap last year playing a University Professor and has previously appeared in 2001 and 2006.
Colin Baker played the 6th Doctor between 1984 and 1986 during a much troubled time in Doctor Who’s history. At the end of Bakers first full season in the role the series was unexpectedly cancelled by BBC One controller, at the time, Michael Grade. The series was saved thanks to a press campaign and Baker returned to the role for another season before he was replaced by Sylvester McCoy as part of a revamp of Doctor Who.
