Larry Hagman: Its ‘amazing’ to be back on Dallas

Larry HagmanLarry Hagman has said its ‘amazing’ to be working back on Dallas.

The actor has reprised his role of scheming J.R Ewing for the new TNT pilot. The pilot is a continuation of the original 1980s super-soap focusing on the next generation of the Ewing family but original stars Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Hagman have all returned to reprise their respective roles. In an interview with E! Online Hagman has discussed filming the new pilot.

Co-star Linda Gray, who plays Sue Ellen – the ex wife of J.R – has revealed a few more details about her characters current status.

“I’m single. I’m very rich, richer than J.R. Ewing, and I have a gorgeous car. But I don’t have a house. So that’s where Sue Ellen is right now.” – Linda Gray speaking to E! Online

Original series actors Charlene Tilton and Steve Kanaly are also reprising their respective roles while new cast members include former Brenda Strong, Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson all of whom have had roles in Desperate Housewives. TNT have yet to pick up Dallas as a series but have stated they will make the decision after viewing the pilot.
