More returns announced for All My Children
It’s been announced a further three characters are to return to All My Children ahead of the soaps finale in September.
It seems as though All My Children is determined to bow out in glory lining up fan favourites to return ahead of its final episode in September. It has been revealed that three more characters are heading back to Pine Valley. Actresses Melissa Claire Egan, Kate Collins and Jennifer Bassey will reprise their roles on the ABC soap, reports TV Guide.
Actress Melissa Claire Egan joined the cast of AMC as Annie Chandler in 2006 and only exited the series earlier this year in what she described as an “extremely difficult decision”. Jennifer Bassey first took up resident in Pine Valley as Marian Colby in 1983 and remained with the soap for a decade. Bassey returned though in 1995 and remained until 2003 when she dropped down to “recurring” status until 2008 – returning again in 2009. Kate Collins originally played Natalie Marlowe on AMC, joining in 1985, but later took on another role too – that of Janet Green. Collins quit both roles in 1992 though returned on numerous occasions as Janet – most recently in 2010.
All three actresses will return to All My Children in July. Other actors confirmed as heading back to Pine Valley are Josh Duhamel and Eva LaRue but we think AMC fans can rest assured a few more familiar faces will be popping up before the end.
