Erin Torpey returning to One Life to Live

Actress Erin Torpey is returning to ABC soap One Life to Live ahead of its finale in January.

However, the actress will not be playing the role of Jessica Buchanan which she played from 1990 to 2003. That’s because the role was taken over in the same year by actress Bree Williamson who is still part of the One Life to Live cast. Instead Torpey will play a brand new character which will allow her to reunite with one of her co-stars in a “fun, special way” reports TV Line.

One Life to Live is due to end in January 2012 after being cancelled by ABC. Rising ratings for the soap – it’s now ABC’s top-rated soap – has given hope to fans that the broadcaster will change its mind. You can find out more about that here >>
