Soapnet to mark All My Children finale
Cable channel Soapnet will mark the television finale of ABC soap All My Children with a special two-day marathon of memorable episodes.
The end is nigh for All My Children – at least in its current form on television. On September 23rd the Pine Valley based soap will broadcast its final episode of ABC and on television. At some point it will be reborn as an online based soap along with fellow serial One Life to Live – which ends its television run in January. As yet its unknown what the move to the internet will mean for AMC and how it will pan out but Prospect Park, the soaps new producers, have offered initial contracts to some of the stars including original cast member Susan Lucci.
The end of All My Children on television had to be marked someway and SOAPnet has announced a special two-day marathon of episodes containing some of the most memorable moments from the residents of Pine Valley. The special marathon will kick off on the cable channel on Saturday 17th Sept with a mini-marathon titled ‘I Love Lucci’ containing five episodes revolving around Lucci’s diva character of Erica Kane. On Sunday 18th Soapnet’s second marathon begins around the theme of romance with episodes containing some of the soaps most famous couples.
