Kristen Alderson signs long term General Hospital contract

One Life to Live actress Kristen Alderson has signed a long-term contract with General Hospital to continue playing her character of Starr Manning on  the ABC medical soap.

The actress took to Twitter to announce that her alter ego of Starr will be sticking around in Port Charles for quite some time. The actress told her followers ‘Just signed my General Hospital contract! 3 years!’

Alderson was one of several One Life to Live actors announced, earlier this month, as crossing over to General Hospital following the demise of the fellow ABC soap. The actors will be reprising their roles from OLTL and there are already rumours that more will make the journey from Llanview to Port Charles.

How long the actors will crossover to GH has been the subject of some speculation with some predicting they would be short stints only. It looks like some actors will be sticking around for longer though.
