Tony McCluskie charged with murder of EastEnders’ Gemma McCluskie

Story Update: The Metropolitan Police have announced tonight that the brother of former EastEnders actress Gemma McCluskie has been charged with her murder.

The 35-year-old brother, who lived in the same location as his sister Pelter Street, Hackney E2, will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday March 12^th over the death of the 29-year-old actress.

The body was spotted in the Regent’s Canal, however was missing her limbs and head. McCluskie, who appeared in over 40 episodes of the long running BBC One soap across six months in late 2000 into early 2001 as Kerry Skinner, was last seen alive on March 1^st.
