1 million see Channel 5’s special Prince William and Kate Middleton programme

Channel 5‘s special programme on the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton sees a big ratings rise for the channel.

Usually at 7.00pm, Five News only manages on average 200,000 viewers to 7.30pm. A Channel 5 News special documentary looking at the story of Prince Charles and Kate Middleton so far attracted 1.0 million viewers. This helped the new series of Emergency Bikers, which kicked off with 1.34 million viewers at 8.00pm.
