I’m A Celeb bosses want Emmerdale actress

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has been linked to this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

A report in the Daily Star suggests bosses are keen to sign the Chas Dingle actress up for the jungle reality show. An insider revealed “We had Corrie’s Antony Cotton on the show last year so we want another serving soap star in the line-up this year.

“Everyone knows who Chas Dingle is so we think Lucy would be perfect. She’s said she’s up for it, too, so it would be great to see her in the jungle.”

The paper notes that Pargeter has had a hectic schedule in the Dales recently filming the conclusion to the Cameron Murray storyline and will be due some time off later this year.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will return to ITV for its thirteenth series later this year.
