Together TV moves up the Sky EPG

The fast-growing TV channel for social change moves up to Sky 170 and appoints new trustee from Kew Gardens’ Grow Wild Campaign.

“I’ve seen the amazing impact of Together TV. Its inclusive content motivates people to take positive actions in their life – and these actions add up for us all. I’m thrilled to join the Board that will drive the future of the UK’s premier social change broadcaster. Becoming a director aligns perfectly with my professional life and my life passions; to creatively engage communities with worthwhile campaigns and causes. I look forward to working even more with the Together TV team and its viewers, members and partners. Together, we can grow long-term impact and sustainable income.” – Philip Turvil

Together TV, the UK’s social change broadcaster, and the world’s only supporter-owned national TV channel, has appointed Philip Turvil, Programme Director at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Grow Wild campaign Director to its Board of Trustees.

Alongside this, Together TV has moved today (Friday 6th December) from Sky 194 to Sky 170 to improve its prominence to Sky’s viewers and continue growing its 2.5m viewers base per month (source: Digital-I, BARB data).

Together TV helps viewers develop their interest in personal and social change through entertaining content – by showing real-life stories, activities and social issues that promote participation in national campaigns and causes.

By encouraging people to get involved in campaigns that offer relevant, practical and achievable things to do, the channel promotes healthier lifestyles, improved mental wellbeing and increased social connections.

“I am delighted that Philip has been elected to Together TV’s board to represent our Members and community shareholders. Our Members are key to our ongoing growth and social impact, and Philip, as one of their three representatives on our board, brings a great mix of skills, knowledge and experience.” – Caroline Diehl, Chair and founder of Together TV

Together TV is on Freeview 88, Sky 170, Virgin 269 and Freesat 164, along with being on-demand on My5 and social videos on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and DailyMotion. www.togethertv.com
