A Sunday version of The Sun launched last week with 3.2 million sales although the chairman and CEO of News Corporation has said on Twitter what he expects will happen with the second issue.
What will second Sunday edition of Sun sell? My guess down fifteen per cent would be a great result. – Murdoch Twitter posting yesterday.
Murdoch was in the UK last month to visit Sun staff following a number of arrests over allegations of inappropriate payments to police or public officials. While visiting he announced the imminent launch of the Sun on Sunday to fill the void of News of the World which he closed last year.
