Showtime commission sixth season of Dexter

Showtime is set to commission a sixth season of its smash-hit drama Dexter.

 

 

According to the Hollywood Reporter Showtime have ordered a sixth season of Dexter, it’s serial killer drama starring Michael C. Hall. The renewal order for Dexter is hardly surprising given its continual strong performance with the most recent episode pulling in 2.5 million viewers and its expected that figure will be beaten with the forthcoming series finale. 

 

There has yet to be an official announcement on the re-commissioning of Dexter but it is expected to be announced shortly. However, the Hollywood Reporter claims that before a 7th season of Dexter can be ordered contracts with “key talent” will have to be renegotiated.
