Whitney Houston’s Last Hours Pulls In 1.8 Million Viewers
The death of Whitney Houston two years ago continues to interest viewers as 1.8 million tune in to hear details of her autopsy report.
Autopsy: Whitney Houston’s Last Hours told the story of the last days of her life leading to her death. The legendary singer, best known for her cover of I Will Always Love You, died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on 11th February 2012. At 10.00pm, 1.8 million tuned in, gaining an impressive 11.14% audience share.
Earlier on Channel 5, the latest exploits of the Celebrity Big Brother housemates continued to attract a healthy audience. 2.4 million viewers (10.2%) watched at 9.00pm. This series, which features comedian Jim Davidson and former Apprentice star Luisa Zissman, has been extended due to popularity.
Elsewhere Death In Paradise returned to BBC One on Tuesday evening at 9.00pm gaining 7.13 million viewers (29.7% audience share). It was narrowly beaten by EastEnders earlier in the evening at 7.30pm which had 7.6 million viewers.
