EastEnders Spoilers: Kat Meets Stacey’s Boyfriend

EastEnders have released new pictures previewing Matt Willis’s first appearance in the soap.

The BBC announced in December that Willis would appear in the show for a short while as Stacey Branning’s (Lacey Turner) boyfriend Luke. Willis said at the time:

“I am so thrilled to be a part of such an iconic show.  I grew up watching EastEnders so this is really exciting for me!” – Matt Willis

Luke’s first appearance comes as Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) embarks on a quest to track Stacey down, after catching a brief glimpse of her on a busy London street. When Kat comes face to face with Luke will she reveal who she is?

Matt is best known for being part of the award winning band, Busted, who recently merged with McFly to create super group McBusted. He has also appeared in many television and theatre shows including Wicked, Footloose, Miss Marple and more recently Birds of a Feather.

EastEnders fans can catch his first appearance in the soap on Thursday 13th February at 7.30pm on BBC One.
