Fox orders Take Me Out

Fox has given a series order to dating show Take Me Out.

Entertainment Weekly report that Fox has given dating series Take Me Out the green-light. The dating show is based on the UK series of the same name which airs on ITV1. Take Me Out will be produced for Fox by the producers of American Idol and the X Factor and will be filmed in front of a studio audience.

As yet a host not been attached to the series but it will launch on June 7th. The UK series has recently been embroiled in several scandals involving contestants who have appeared on the series. The scandals have impacted on the ratings for Take Me Out with the Saturday evening show registering a notable drop in figures. At the moment broadcaster ITV1 has stuck by the series and shown no signs it intends to cancel it.
