The Voice ratings continue to grow

Jessie JThe Voice continues to rate well for BBC One as the gap between it and ITV rival Britain’s Got Talent rises.

Three weeks in and The Voice UK once again increased its ratings last night on BBC One narrowing the gap between it and Simon Cowell’s Britain’s Got Talent. The Voice pulled in an average of 9.5 million viewers for its third blind audition show with a peak audience of 10.5 million viewers.

During the period it clashed with Britain’s Got Talent it had 10 million viewers compared with BGT’s 6 million. As for BGT it had an average audience of 9.4 million viewers peaking at 10.2 million viewers. There’s no denying The Voice is proving to be a worthy rival to Britain’s Got Talent and the BBC will be very pleased with its performance so far.
