Alan Cumming tours UK Cities for Sky Atlantic

In a new factual documentary series Alan Cumming hosts City Secrets which will take viewers on a journey the length and breadth of the United Kingdom.

The eight hour long episodes have been created as a guided walking tour which will take viewers on a stunning and picturesque tour of the country, visiting a number of Britain’s most influential urban areas.

Cumming is bursting with enthusiasm as he takes to a new city in each episode, revealing incredible stories that will entertain and surprise. Throughout the series, Cumming will be exploring the different factors, which make each city world-renowned.

As Alan Cumming guides viewers through the historical evolution of each destination, he will be joined by some famous names from the city, along with local experts who will offer their views and insights on what gives their city its unique character and spirit.

City Secrets is the latest commission from Sky Atlantic following Sky’s commitment to increase its investment in original British content by 50% over the next three years.

Actor Alan Cumming is best known for drama series such as The Good Wife, The Runaway and The L Word. Those with long memories will recall his appearances in ITV crime drama Taggart and STV soap opera Take The High Road.
