Fred Karger releases new campaign video

Republican presidential candidate Fred Karger has released a new campaign video titled ‘Sexy Frisbee’.

The video is a little more fun and sexy than those released by his fellow Republican presidential candidates but then you may not have heard of Fred Karger until now. So far the coverage of the Republican candidacy race has been nominated by hardliners such as Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachmann and Mitt Romney.

At ATV Today we are just as guilty as other news outlets for concentrating our coverage to those individuals who have repeatedly spoken out against the LGBT community and equal rights issues. But Fred Karger is an important candidate for the Republican party because he is openly gay and a Jewish candidate as well. The other candidates for the candidacy have (mostly) been ultra-conservative Christians or Mormons.

The fact that Karger is openly gay may raise a few eye brows from some pondering on what he is doing in the Republican party given its stance towards gay and lesbians. Karger isn’t likely to win the Republican candidacy race as Mitt Romney is now the favourite and has far more support. However, Karger is still an important candidate because it reminds us that not all Republicans are anti-gay.

Sexy Frisbee was taken down from You Tube for a while for some odd reason but it’s back for everyone to enjoy.
