Actress renews One Life contract
Actress Erika Slezak has renewed her contact with daytime soap One Life to Live. The actress has been with the American soap since 1971.
Actress Erika Slezak has renewed her contract with long-running ABC soap One Life to Live. The actress joined the soap as Victoria Davidson way back in 1971 and has appeared in the soap since then. The actress has won six Daytime Emmy awards for her role in the soap. The news of her contract renewal ends months of speculation over the actress’ future on the soap. Rumours were circulating that Slezak might be axed from the soap
“I am very happy to be remaining with One Life to Live for the next few years – and am looking forward to good stories and lots of fun,” – Erika Slezak on her website.
The actress was speculated to be leaving the series after her character, Victoria, started to appear less on screen as writers focused on other storylines and characters. The actress urged fans to contact the network and show their support for her character who had become somewhat sidelined. Slezak’s contract renewal means the actress will be part of the show when it moves to bigger studios and switches to HD filming.
