Former Casualty Actor Joins Corrie
Actor Christopher Colquhoun is joining the cast of ITV1’s Coronation Street, it has been announced.
Colquhoun, who is best known for his role as Simon Kaminski in BBC One’s Casualty between 2002-2004, will be playing a love rival for Dev Alahan when he arrives on the cobbles later this year as his character Matt Davies is the fiance of Sunita (Shobna Gulati), Dev’s former wife. Gulati is reprising her role as Sunita and both will be appearing on screen from December.
It is believed that Dev will be jealous upon discovering the wedding plans, leading to a string of heated bust-ups between him and his ex-wife’s new beau.
